Test clip:
.08 sec intro to Lovin Spoonful "Did You Ever Have To Make Up Your Mind"
This LP is in particularly bad condition, having been overplayed in my teen years on poor turntables.
There are 3 clips.
1. Original, un-processed

2. Processed by DePopper:
default settings for "Big Clicks" "Small Pops" and "Minimize Noise"

3. Processed by CoolEditPro2:
   Effects>Noise Reduction>Click/Pop Eliminator>preset for Old Record/Quiet Audio.......then: Hiss Reduction>standard reduction preset.
Conclusion:
To my ear, Depopper sounds tinny, and some noise is still present, although the worst of the pops are gone.

Cool Edit seems to be the clear winner, virtually all the noise is eliminated, and the frequency response sounds fuller than the original.
